Al Bayan Foundation supports 04 Middle School 10 Primary school 12 Dar ul Quran Academy
Scholarships are provided by Al Bayan to boys and girls from low-income families in the Baltistan region so that they can attend elementary and secondary education. Most of the families of these young women are farmers, and they are struggling to make ends meet. The goal of this initiative is to improve access to high-quality education for girls living in Pakistan’s mountainous regions, where such opportunities have hitherto been limited.
Education
The vast majority of the youngsters in the areas we serve require extra help and materials to achieve academically. The Al Bayan Foundation collaborates with school personnel, community members, and parents to complement pupils’ regular schooling. The Al Bayan Foundation’s after-school tutoring programs raise graduation rates for students in each community. We’ve teamed up with civic leaders and residents to do what we can to raise living standards in the area.
Health
The
Al Bayan Foundation works with local community leaders including teachers and
religious clerics to spread health education. Clean water, healthy food,
disease prevention, and programs to train traditional midwives are also
supported. The Shigar Baltistan Health Department and the Al Bayan Foundation
hosted a free medical camp. Over 600 patients were examined by doctors and
nurses, and free medication was given out to everyone.
